Closer terms of use
Closer helps participants find each other at a meeting they have agreed to attend.
Using Closer
Create meetings with participants' consent. Protect invitations and provide accurate information. Covert tracking, harassment and unauthorized use of another person's data are prohibited. The service does not replace emergency assistance.
Test release and accuracy
Public APK 2.1.6 is a test release. Physical-device testing is not yet complete. GPS and Bluetooth accuracy depend on the device and surroundings; uninterrupted connectivity and metre-level precision are not guaranteed.
Payments and cancellation
The free plan includes 3 meetings per month. Pro and Business are billed in EUR monthly or annually; the selected total and period appear before PayPal approval. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Purchases become available when payments are enabled; Sandbox uses no real money. Cancel in your dashboard, in PayPal or by emailing closermeet.app@gmail.com. Cancellation ends paid access immediately and stops further renewals. Profile deletion also initiates cancellation, with retries if PayPal is unavailable. Cancellation and deletion do not themselves issue a refund.
Refunds and disputes
To request cancellation or a refund, email closermeet.app@gmail.com with your profile email, payment date, amount and PayPal transaction ID. Do not send card details, passwords or sign-in codes. After cancellation, on request we refund the unused time in the current paid period: amount paid × remaining time / full period duration. There is no cancellation fee. Confirmed duplicate or erroneous charges are refunded in full; confirmed unavailability of the paid service is refunded for the affected time. Services already provided are not refundable except in these cases or where law requires. We issue a refund due within 14 calendar days of receiving the request, or sooner if required by law. The owner handles refunds manually through PayPal, normally to the original payment method; crediting time depends on PayPal and your bank. If that method is unavailable, we agree a safe alternative. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights, including applicable distance-purchase withdrawal periods, longer periods for legally protected groups, or recourse to PayPal, a bank or a court. Tell us about an open dispute to prevent a duplicate refund.
