Closer privacy policy
What a meeting needs, who can access the data and how to request deletion.
Data and purpose
Closer processes the owner's sign-in ID, name and email, team and plan. Meetings use names, place, time, messages and optional phone numbers, vehicle details, photos and location. These details help organize a meeting and identify participants.
Access and service providers
A complete invitation link is a temporary access key. Share it only with your participant. The organizer manages meetings. Sites/Cloudflare provides hosting and storage, ChatGPT provides sign-in, and PayPal handles payments once enabled. Closer does not store your password or full card number. An external map receives the destination only when you choose Open route.
Permissions and your device
Sharing location requires a separate action and device permission. You can stop it on the meeting screen. Bluetooth broadcasts a temporary meeting signal without names or coordinates. The tab may temporarily retain the invitation key and minimal meeting details; this cache does not store photos or coordinates.
Retention and deletion
Completing, cancelling or expiring a meeting ends access to its location and photos. Coordinates are cleared and photos are submitted for deletion, with retries during storage outages. History and messages are due for cleanup after 90 days; closed support requests and technical payment events after 400 days. Cleanup currently runs when the service is used; physical deletion during inactivity is not yet guaranteed. These are not statutory accounting retention periods.
Your requests
Owners can delete their profile and data on the deletion page. Contact the operator for access, corrections or a meeting-related request. Include the meeting number, never the complete invitation link, password or card details. PayPal independently processes and retains its own payment records.
